Many adults have developed a tendency to put others first, and in doing so, they often neglect their relationship with themselves. Parents, care-givers, and working professionals are more likely to neglect their personal needs and desires due to familial obligations, work responsibilities, societal pressures and many other factors. Ivy is an advocate for adults who have become disconnected from themselves and disengaged with play, pleasure, and inner-healing due to these underlying factors.

When we take the time and effort to take care of ourselves; our families, partners, children, friends and extended communities inherently benefit from it as well. Choosing to show up for ourselves is an act of self-love. We do not get to choose the circumstances that happen to us, but we do get to choose how we process and overcome circumstances.
